Official Contest Terms & Conditions

By submitting an entry to the Help Us Name Our Revolutionary New Real Estate Program Contest, participants agree to these Official Contest Terms & Conditions.

Eligibility

Participants must be at least 18 years old to enter. No purchase, real estate transaction, or brokerage agreement is necessary to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law.

Entry Limit

Each participant may submit up to 3 name ideas. If more than three ideas are submitted, we will help you choose your top three entries for consideration.

Cash Prizes

Cash prizes will be awarded as follows:

1st Place: $500 Cash
2nd Place: $300 Cash
3rd Place: $100 Cash
4th Place: $50 Cash
5th Place: $50 Cash

The total value of all prizes is $1,000.

Winner Selection & Announcement

Winning names will be selected by Mike & Dawn Bigelow based on factors such as originality, memorability, relevance to the real estate program, marketability, and overall fit.

This is a skill- and creativity-based naming contest and not a random drawing.

Winners will be announced on our website on October 30th at 7:00pm.

Duplicate or Similar Name Ideas

More than one participant may independently submit the same or a substantially similar name. If the same winning name is submitted by more than one participant, the date and time the entries were received may be used to determine which participant submitted the name first.

Mike & Dawn Bigelow reserve the right to determine whether submissions are identical or substantially similar.

Use of Submitted Name Ideas

By submitting an entry, participants agree to the following submission agreement, which is also included on the Contest entry form:

“By submitting this form and checking this box, I confirm that I am the sole author of the submitted name idea. I grant and transfer the permanent, irrevocable right to use, publish, display, and modify my submitted name in any marketing, advertising, promotional materials, or branding without further compensation, notice, or approval, whether or not it is selected as a winner or otherwise.”

Submitted name ideas may therefore be used or modified by Mike & Dawn Bigelow for advertising, marketing, promotional, and branding purposes related to the real estate program, whether or not the submitted name is selected as a winning entry.

Participants understand that submission of a name does not guarantee that the name will be selected as a winner or that it will be used. Mike & Dawn Bigelow may use, modify, combine, or develop submitted ideas for future advertising, marketing, promotional, or branding purposes.

Originality of Entries

Participants should only submit name ideas they created themselves and should not knowingly submit another person’s or company’s trademark, slogan, brand name, or other protected material.

Submission of an entry does not guarantee that a proposed name is legally available for use or trademark registration.

Winner Notification

Winners may be contacted using the email address or phone number provided on the Contest entry form.

Participants are responsible for providing accurate contact information. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within a 24-hour time period, another qualifying entry may be selected.

Taxes

Winners are responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes that may apply to their prize.

No Brokerage Relationship

Entering this Contest does not create a buyer brokerage agreement, listing agreement, agency relationship, or other real estate brokerage relationship with Mike & Dawn Bigelow or Realty One of New Mexico.

Any real estate brokerage relationship must be established separately through the appropriate written agreement.

Changes or Cancellation

Mike & Dawn Bigelow reserve the right to modify, suspend, extend, or cancel the Contest if circumstances outside their reasonable control, legal or regulatory requirements, technical problems, fraud, or other issues affect the fair administration of the Contest.

Agreement to Official Rules

By submitting an entry, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Official Contest Terms & Conditions.

Submission of an entry does not guarantee selection as a winner, receipt of a prize, or use of the submitted name.
